"You don't know how nervous I am. I am not a singer, I am just a factory manager," Mahsuri said when she came up on stage to sing “Doa Buat Kekasih” with Ramli Sarip. Ramli quipped, "Don't worry, you are not the only one that is nervous here".

"This is the time to rekindle old flames when both are available again!" Y.B. Dato’ Mukhriz in his welcoming address.

"32 years I have been away from you all and all ANSARA events. Only one person managed to persuade me to come to this dinner and her name is Puteri!" Basuki from ANSARA Seremban who brought the Polis band to back up his performance.

Tweeted during Cif Inspektor Basuki’s performance, “OMG! On stage right now. 50-yr olds rapping! Nice!!! Only at #malamAnsara”

"Thank you ANSARA for making us feel welcome and making us feel part of the family. ANSARA dinner is cool!" - Azuwar guitarist from The Jaw, SAS alumni said after the dinner.  Azuwar sang ‘Roxanne’, the famous Police song. They decided at the last minute to include the song in their set and Azuwar had to hold the hand-scribbled lyrics sheet when singing.

Hasnan the emcee quipped during pulut kuning event for the ANSARA members who had turned 50, “These people are celebrating on stage because they can now withdraw 1/3 of their EPF savings!”

Another tweet – “Good to see the camaraderie among ex-MRSM at ANSARA dinner just now! We are one big family!”

Ramli Sarip enjoyed his performance that he suggested to come back to our dinner next year with his band Sweet Charity!  He sounded serious as he said "Budget boleh runding" twice! He ended his show by saying, "Insya Allah, see you next year at the Ansara Dinner 2012!" *The committee is seriously thinking about it now.
