Syed Tahir Dato’ Syed Azman (1984, MRSM Kulim)

Born in Batu Gajah and grew up in Ipoh. Represented Perak (U-12) in football and was named school footballer. In college he was an active sportsman, athlete and musician. Represented the college in football, volleyball and athletics. Represented Kedah for the Lion City Cup selection. He is the current President of Ansara Kulim (2011-2013).

Syed Tahir, currently is a consultant and senior partner of Messrs Azman Tahir & Co. The legal firm in Kuala Lumpur mainly specializes in corporate restructuring, reverse take-overs and mandatory general offers.

Prior to that he was the Head of Legal in a broking firm and initially commenced his legal practice with Azman Davidson & Co in 1990. He is currently an independent director serving on the board of Nera (M) Sdn Bhd, BT Systems (M) Sdn Bhd, Shinmaywa (M) Sdn Bhd and a few other international companies.
